Magnetic dichroism in photoemission with synchrotron radiation

Abstract
An overview on the main aspects and on the use of the magnetic dichroism in photoemission technique using synchrotron radiation, which revealed to be a good tool for the study of surface and interface magnetism. Examples will be presented on transition metal and rare earth systems, principally for the shallow core level in the VUV-Soft X-ray photon energy range. Moreover, some further applications and perspective will be given.
