ADA and ADO modules for hardware signal processing

Abstract
In the framework of the timing and diagnostics for the FERMI project, a set of acquisition and signal processing digital electronic modules had been developed, manufactured and successfully tested. This talk covers aspects on the general architecture of such modules, from hardware to software. Practical implementation examples, and on the filed experience for both diagnostics (BAM and C-BPM) and timing (CW timing distribution) are also presented.
