SLS front end design and up grading

Abstract
In 2009 two canted Insertion devices were installed at long section 9L for SIS and AIL beam lines. A combined Front End for these two beam lines was installed and since then it is working as designed. A new Material Science beam line will replace the old one at section 4S. The new insertion device U14, new Front end and new Optics will be final installed in 2011. (Ref. M. Kiskinova)
